Decent food with great service, staff are always helpful and cares about what customers really wants. I ordered a few time, it's definitely one level higher than ordinary take out restaurant. Their shrimp is always fresh and the pancit are just as good. The girl in the front always has a smile on her face that makes feel welcomed every time u go in there.

I've been here several times for lunch. Its probably as good as it gets for a take-out Chinese in this area. The place is usually packed out with construction workers, and the lady at the counter is super friendly and I'm always impressed by her speaking Spanish to the construction workers. Our office has hit a few local Chinese take-out spots and this is by far our favorite. They are definitely a cut above anywhere else I have experienced.

I have a bad habit of using Yelp all the time for reviews but I never write my own. Here we go! Been let down on the last several Chinese food places, so I was expecting to be let down once again. Well, certainly not the case here....finally, Woohoo!!! We live locally and are very happy to have them close by. We had Beef Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice w/Spring Rolls & Crab Rangoon...Loved it and will be back!!!!

I always thought Chinese takeout places were all the same...UNTIL the time I had burnt flavored egg drop soup at some other Mt.P spot and spent over a month living in Dallas, TX where Chinese takeout in plastic containers was evidently non-existent (I would never move there on that reason alone). No, I'm serious. Luckily, Bamboo Garden is a solid place. It's about what you'd expect for this type of restaurant, consistent, quick...I always get egg drop soup and tofu with mixed vegetables. No complaints. I also like the moo shu vegetables (thank you BG for not making your pancakes so ridiculously thin that they hold nothing) and shrimp with broccoli. Don't forget extra chopsticks for leftovers!

Average Chinese food. Included pic of curry chicken, pepper steak and pork fried rice. Curry was not spectacular especially after eating Thai recently. Pepper steak was ok with fresh peppers. PFR was ok also, pretty sure it was made with bag of frozen peas and carrots. The crab rangoons are 4-5" triangles

They are rather quick for as few that are working. You get counter service with a smile. The food is fresh, made to order, and pretty good for fast food Chinese. There are lunch specials Monday thru Friday.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
